Doctoral Candidate / TU Berlin

Steffen researches on the intersection of climate change mitigation and adaptation strategies. He holds a degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Stuttgart, Germany, and also studied atmospheric physics at the Ecole Polytechnique (France) and University of Oxford (UK).
Steffen’s current research focuses on the impacts of future extreme heat in tropical locations with a view on vulnerable populations. Steffen has also worked with humanitarian and international organizations on the policy implementations of his research findings. He is also a doctoral candidate at the Technische Universität Berlin.
