Msilikale Msilanga is a spatial planner with urban planning, open source and community mapping
experiences. He used to work with the World Bank from 2011 to 2022 where he gained experiences in
using community mapping as a method to provide skills at the same time use technology and opensource
tools to collect and manage geospatial data to address urban challenges. Now Msilikale is
working at the University of Turku, Finland as project manager for Resilience Academy
(https://resilienceacademy.ac.tz/) and GeoICT4e project (https://www.geoict.org/).
