Consultant in Urban Resilience / World Bank – Resiliént/City

As a specialist consultant in urban resilience, climate risk, and disaster risk reduction with the World Bank, the United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction and other international organizations, Mirescu works in project management and policy design in all aspects of climate resilience. Connecting the public and private sectors, he designs and implements policy approaches to sustainable technologies and solutions for reducing urban heat, improving air quality, community relations and bringing resilient storm water management and flood mitigation from a multi-hazard value-for-money perspective. He is also an ISO certified advisor for Business Continuity Planning. More recently, Mirescu’s work has focused on private sector engagement for improved climate early warning systems in the Caribbean region.
