Disaster Risk Management Specialist / World Bank

Dr. Lukas Loeschner is a Disaster Risk Management Specialist in the World Bank’s East Africa Unit for Urban, Resilience and Land. He works across the East Africa Region, notably in Ethiopia, South Sudan, Sudan and Uganda, with a focus on disaster resilience, urban development, and flood risk reduction in the context of urbanization, climate change, and fragility, conflict and violence.
