Anil Pokhrel is the Chief Executive at the National Disaster Risk Reduction & Management Authority, Government of Nepal. He serves as the Member Secretary of the National Executive Committee for DRRM headed by Hon. Minister of Home Affairs and the National Council headed by Rt. Hon. Prime Minister. Mr. Pokhrel previously worked for agencies such as the ADB, World Bank, ODI, ISET and Plan8 Risk Consulting. Mr. Pokhrel was trained as a Civil Engineer at TU, Nepal and in Environmental Management – at Yale University (2004-2006) under a Fulbright fellowship.
