Senior DRM Consultant / World Bank, GFDRR

Cristóbal Mena is a Senior DRM Consultant for the World Bank and former Deputy Director of the Chilean National Emergency Office were he led key policy changes as the National DRM Law and the DRR National Policy 2020-2030. He has worked on Government Continuity, EP&R, and building SAR Capacities in Central Asia, Latin America and Europe. He also lectures on Emergency Planning, Risk Management and DRM Policy. He holds an MSc in Risk, Disaster & Resilience from the University College London and B. Soc. Sci. in Political Science and Public Policy.
