Senior Economist / World Bank
Eliana Rubiano-Matulevich is Senior Economist with the World Bank’s Poverty and Equity Group, Latin America and the Caribbean. She leads the work on improving the availability of sex-disaggregated data and gender statistics at the country level. She previously worked on a study that aims to provide World Bank TTLs with the guidance to design and implement operations for forcibly displaced people that respond to gender-specific vulnerabilities. Eliana holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Maastricht University, a Master’s in Public Administration from Columbia University in the City of New York, and an M.Sc. in Economics from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana (Colombia).
