PhD Researcher / Deltares
Julius Schlumberger is a PhD candidate at VU Amsterdam and Deltares. In the context of the MYRIAD_EU research project, he is working on qualitative and quantitative methods to support decision-making regarding adaptive short-to-longterm management strategies for complex multi-risk systems. Using the concept of adaptation pathways, the work evolves around advancing and operationalizing the analytical framework of DAPP (‘Dynamic Adaptive Policy Pathways’) to account for interactions and interdependencies of objectives, measures and impacts across sectors and hazards.
