Disaster Risk Management Specialist / World Bank

Pierre Chrzanowski is a Disaster Risk Management Specialist at the Global Facility for Disaster and
Reduction Recovery (GFDRR) administered by the World Bank. He is part of the Digital Earth team that
is supporting countries to harness the new generation of Earth Observation services for development.
Pierre’s main areas of expertise are digital platforms, open data, and geospatial data. He holds a
Master’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Technology of Troyes in
France.
