Aiman is a civil and coastal engineer at the Ministry of Construction and Infrastructure of the Maldives, focusing on strategically important large-scale national development projects. He holds a Msc in Water Science and Engineering from the IHE Delft Institute for Water Education with a specialisation in coastal engineering and port development. His published work includes "Port development in small island states - a case study of the Maldives". His areas of work include sustainable development and planning of resillient cities and infrastructure; as well as the development of transportation systems, industrial zones and maritime infrastructure.
