I am an environmental anthropologist who studies issues related to disaster recovery and disaster risk management, water and energy, infrastructure development, climate change adaptation and climate science, and the politics of environmental data and knowledge production. My work focuses on the Himalayan bioregion, and primarily in Nepal. I hold a Ph.D. in Anthropology from Cornell University, an M.S. from the Yale School of the Environment, and a B.A. from Dartmouth College.
