Brenden Jongman leads the World Bank’s Global Program on Nature-based Solutions for Climate Resilience (GPNBS), which works to scale up the application of nature-based solutions globally. Brenden has been with GFDRR and the World Bank for nearly 10 years, working on disaster risk management and climate resilience in Africa, South Asia and Latin America. A Dutch national, Brenden holds a PhD in Climate Risk Management and has published over 50 publications in peer-reviewed journals.
