Irma Daphney Stone is the Risk Manager and joined PCRIC on January 1, 2024. She has a wealth of experience in regional and public administration, acquired through notable positions at the Pacific Islands Forum Secretariat, University of the South Pacific, and the South Pacific Tourism Organisation.
Her extensive background also includes serving as the CEO for the Ministry of Revenue and Customs in Tonga, as well as holding the role of Operations Manager at the Oceania Customs Organisation in Fiji.
Ms. Stone’s career trajectory is marked by significant achievements, as she began her professional journey as a development accountant in Tonga in 1994, a time when the presence of business graduates was scarce. In 2012, she became the first female CEO of the Ministry of Revenue and Customs, breaking barriers and establishing herself as one of the few female leaders in customs and taxation in the Pacific.
