Director of Global Advocacy & Partner Campaigns

First as Director of Strategic Communications & Global Engagement and now as Director of Global Advocacy & Partner Campaigns, David has been with Lloyd’s Register Foundation since 2019. He is also the Visiting Fellow in Risk Communication at the Institute for the Public Understanding of Risk at the National University of SingaporeAn expert in strategic communications management, government relations, and public engagement with science, he is also the Founder and Chairman of Matter PR, one of the world’s only communications agencies specialising in helping science and engineering organisations. Before joining the Foundation, David held senior positions in UK research councils and Civil Service.
