Asghar is currently leading a key project on Pakistan’s recovery from the devastating 2022 floods with the Government of Sindh, supported by the World Bank. With 34 years of experience in spearheading complex development projects in Pakistan, he has served as the Project Director for various donor-funded initiatives, notably the World Bank-funded Strengthening Institutions for Refugee Administration Project, the Sindh Resilience Project, and the UNHCR-ARRC Project in Karachi. Asghar holds a Master's degree in Economics from Shah Abdul Latif University, Sindh.
