Iguniwari Ekeu-wei is a Disaster Risk Management Specialist with the South Asia Climate and Disaster Risk Management team. Based out of Kathmandu, Nepal, he co-leads the World Bank’s DRM programs, technical assistance, and policy dialogue, working on multiple hazards, including floods, landslide, earthquakes, and forest fires. He also leads the World Bank’s effort in mainstream disruptive technology and climate resilience in operations across Nepal, India, and Pakistan, including multihazard risk assessment, post-disaster risk assessment, and infrastructure project design and implementation in the housing, transport, water, and energy sectors. Iguniwari is a Chartered Water and Environmental Manager and holds a PhD in Geoinformatics and Environmental Modelling from the University of Lancaster, UK.
