Mr. Jitendra serves as the Director of Global Financial Inclusion and Capital Markets at Habitat for Humanity's Terwilliger Center for Innovation in Shelter. With a focus on private sector development, he brings extensive experience in microfinance, financial inclusion, and the housing sector. Mr. Jitendra specializes in supporting financial institutions in developing, testing, and scaling affordable housing finance solutions, managing portfolio relationships, and driving strategic growth. He oversees Habitat's MicroBuild Fund, the first housing-focused microfinance investment vehicle dedicated to helping low-income families. The fund has grown rapidly and, as of the end of FY2023, has enabled access to housing microfinance for more than 236,000 borrowers and their families, benefiting approximately 1.18 million individuals.
With 15 years of experience in business advisory, consulting, and debt investment services, Mr. Jitendra has collaborated with over 100 financial intermediaries across Asia and Africa. His expertise spans strategy, business plans, financial modeling, risk management, operations, digital transformation, and product development for financial institutions.
