Jonas Olsson is senior researcher at the Swedish Meteorological and Hydrological Institute as well as adjunct progessor at Lund University in Sweden. He has many years of experience on analysis, modelling and forecasting of hydrometeorological hazards, with main focus on heavy rainfall and subsequent flooding, using both conventional and AI-based approaches. He is a frequent PI of both national and international research projects and he has published almost 100 peer-reviewed scientific papers.
