Senior Advisor and Research LeadJulis Koch is Research Lead and Senior Advisor with Imaginetic, a serious games provider based in Montreal, Canada, and a PhD Researcher in the anthropology and sociology department at the Geneva Graduate Institute. She is passionate about learning, and particularly interested in exploring the parameters of creative game design, humanitarian pedagogy and innovation. Her current research project about the socio-cultural, organisational and political dimensions of the 'before' of emergencies raises critical questions about the role of serious play in transforming organisations. Apart from a previous stint in the technology start-up sector, where she held both commercial and operational roles, she made important academic pit stops at SOAS in London, UK and University College Utrecht, the Netherlands.
