Kazunori Enokida is a housing development specialist at the Housing Land Development Guidance Division, Urban Development Bureau, Hiroshima City. Mr. Enokida has 25 years of experience in urban development at the Hiroshima City government. In his current role, he leads the planning for more resilient housing and city development. Previously, he engaged in road and urban park development projects, resilient urban area development through the control of urban sprawling at the Housing Land Development Guidance Division, as well as leading post-disaster reconstruction planning following the 2014 torrential rain disaster as a member of the Construction for Recovery Office. He also previously had an assignment to the Urban Bureau (Urban Safety Division) of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport (MLIT) where he engaged in urban disaster risk management policies.
