Mabelline is a Supervising Science Research Specialist at DOST-PHIVOLCS, where she has worked since 2007. Mabelline received a Masters Degree in Natural Hazards at the Australian National University and a PhD in Environmental Manageemnt and Studies at Miriam College in the Philippines.
