Partner at INES Ingenieros Consultores and holding a dual master's degree in Civil Engineering and Environmental Science, Marta has almost 15 years of experience in the field of climate resilient infrastructures and risk-based asset management.

She has led vulnerability and risk assessments of transport networks exposed to natural hazards and climate change around the globe, working in World Bank financed projects in countries such as Dominica, Haiti, or the FSM. She also has proven experience in the definition of climate resilient road management strategies and adaptation plans.

She actively contributes to international technical associations, serving as the Spanish secretary for PIARC's Technical Comittee on Resilient Bridges and as member of ATC's Group on Climate Change Impact on Transport Infrastructure.
