Mizan Bisri is an Associate Professor at the Graduate School of International Cooperation Studies, Kobe University, Japan. He is the founder of an award-winning social enterprise (“CARI!”), which provides end-to-end disaster-knowledge management services for Southeast Asian countries. His portfolio covers disaster risk management, climate change adaptation, humanitarian actions, disaster education, and science-policy interface, with a concentration in Southeast Asia. He has past and current engagements with The World Bank, UCLG-ASPAC, ASEAN Secretariat, AHA Centre, Asian Disaster Reduction Center, GIZ, KOICA and JICA.
