Muhammad Luthfi Eko Nugroho is the Head of the Economic Planning Division at Development Planning Agency (Bappeda) of Semarang Municipality in Indonesia. He is responsible for the development of sectors that include macroeconomic, small-medium enterprises (SMEs), tourism, trade, industry, agriculture, food, and fisheries. As the Chief Resilience Officer for Semarang City under the 100 Resilient Cities initiative, Mr. Nugroho is responsible for coordinating the city’s urban resilience actions and strategies. He received a master’s in urban planning and development from Dipenogoro University in Semarang City. His expertise is in the fields of urban planning and development, environment, energy and natural resources, macroeconomics, climate change, disaster management, and urban resilience.
