Disaster Risk Management Specialist
Reda Aboutadjine is a Financial Sector Economist at the World Bank, based in Washington D.C.. He is involved in projects where finance and climate change interact. This interaction can be one where the financial system is threatened by climate change (e.g., climate and transition risks for the banking sector), or can involve finance as a tool to counteract climate change impacts through mitigation (e.g., green taxonomies) or adaptation (e.g., disaster risk financing). He has worked in several countries such as Afghanistan, Algeria, Bangladesh, Malawi, Morocco, Niger and Tunisia. Lately, he has been focusing on the MENA region.
