Mr. Tateno has been working in Weathernews Inc. (WNI) since 2004.
His 20 years’ experience at WNI has started from President's Office/Human resources and spent most of career in Global Media (Mobile/Internet/Broadcasting) Business Division.
From 2017, he has started his career in Data Strategy Division and been in charge of Public Private Partnership activities in collaboration with international and local public organizations.
From 2020, he became the initial member of Business Development Initiative working on the development of new business and utilization of cutting-edge technologies globally. He is also in charge of a secretariat of the Sustainability Committee of the company.
Working as s Steering Committee Member of Weather Business Consortium (WXBC) in Japan since 2020.
Born in Tokyo, and holds BA in Psychology from California State University Northridge, USA.
