Constellations for Resilience: The ESA – World Bank Collaboration
This event is organized by the European Space Agency and will focus on showcasing innovative applications related to the use of satellite data and technologies for resilience. The presentations will build on past and current activities being deployed under the partnerships between ESA and Multilateral Development Banks (i.e. World Bank and ADB). Concrete examples will focus on topics such as mapping exposure at scale, scanning Nature-Based Solutions investment opportunities, designing disaster-related triggers for financial schemes, monitoring coastal resilience, and broader strategic programs such as the Copernicus Philippines center.
