Exploring Immersive Decision-Making for DRR when Climate and Conflict Converge in Complex Contexts

Join us to explore decision-making in Fragile, Conflict, and Violence (FCV) contexts for Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) programming. Amidst uncertainty, DRR practitioners seek innovative ways to implement DRR in FCV settings. Yet, intersecting risks and evolving contexts pose challenges. This highly interactive session draws from the forthcoming Handbook for DRR in FCV settings (German Red Cross, IFRC, ICRC, supported by the Red Cross Red Crescent Climate Centre) and experiences from humanitarian stress testing and multi-risk assessment (IMPACT initiatives). You will navigate decision-making in FCV settings and reflect on the challenges and opportunities for action.
